Free Fun Run for children ages 9 and under will start at approximately 8:45. All runners need to be registered by 8:30am. There will be a registration table set up for these runners, both pre-registered and non registered. This run will take place on the school grounds and will NOT go off onto any roads.
Refreshments will be available right after this race for all runners. Awards to follow.
5K Run / Walk will start at approximately 9am following the Fun Run. Check in for the race will begin at 8am. All runners / walkers will need to be registered by 8:45am. There will be two registration tables: one for pre-registered runners / walkers and one for non-registered runners / walkers.
The starting line will be just beyond the school on Bennett Street. Take right onto Brook Street. It will continue to River Street. Left onto Oscar Emery Drive. Right at rotary which brings you up to Gowen's Park. Right onto Main Street up to the old Miller Ford location (There will be a water station here). Right down High School Drive. Left onto the YMCA trails. Continue on trail until the skate park, take right on same trail until you hit High School Drive near River Street. Take left out of trail and right onto River. Cross over to Brook Street. Left onto Bennett. Right onto North Avenue and into the timing shoot on school grounds.
Refreshements for runners and walkers will be available after the race. Awards ceremony to follow.
Walkers will be able to choose the entire 5K course or do a 1.5mi loop. Map for the 1.5 will be posted at registration.
